Human Rights Knows No Borders – October 7th, 2017

This one-day symposium was held at the University of Arizona on October 7, 2017. It focused on the strategic tools utilized by binational communities to seek and obtain social justice across the Mexico and United States border. The day’s events included presentations and discussions of case studies and testimonies regarding the disappearance of the 43 students from Ayotzinapa, emerging asylum cases, and issues faced by the Yaqui community as they work with organizations in Mexico and the United States to confront human rights violations.
